"The world wants Obama, not the Manchurian candidate from the Keating 5."

First of all, ever wonder why our competitors and enemies would want obama? Doesn't that strike you as a reason not to vote for him? Are you for the rest of the world or are you for us? I don't understand that logic, sorry.

And as for the 4 democrats he got involved with, sometimes reaching over the aisle is not a good idea. He was exonerated anyway and I don't think keating or any astronauts tried to bomb the capital and pentagon, killed cops, told teenagers to kill their parents, defrauded public housing, commited voter fraud, invented immunodeficiancy diseases to ethnically cleanse ghettos, etc, etc , etc.

If there were only 1 skeleton in each closet I would throw the keating thing know one cares about around, but Joe the Plumber will seduce you and ass rape you in a clown suit when we go tit for tat on your boy. The guy is a sheister, anyone can see that. Take the blue pill and believe what you want but don't expect everyone to fall for it, it's insulting and self defecating.

Let's get schmaltzy -- we ARE the world, or the eyes of the world. Sure we have competitors but we can tour with them, and why should we care if people want to see another band too.

If US would follow our supposed principals, we'd clean up. Everyone likes strength through fair play. Arrogance and bullying is hated even by arrogant bullies.

We are not above other people because they live in another part of the world -- or because we're white, black, or brown!

He who dies with the best karma wins.

Welcome to the future:

"Bush is to the left of me now," Mr Chavez told an audience at a debate on the benefits of socialism. "Comrade Bush announced he will buy shares in private banks."

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla.- She's only 12 years old but Ashleigh Jones is feeling the heat of this election year.

That’s because the seventh grader at New Smyrna Beach Middle School was called a racist by classmates for wearing a pro-Sarah Palin t-shirt.

Jones is volunteering at the Republican Headquarters in New Smyrna Beach. The Palin t-shirt was a gift from her fellow volunteers.

But when she wore it to school she learned just how tough politics can be.

“Some of the students were calling me racist because I was Caucasian,” she said. “I wanted the Caucasian man to win. And I told them that’s not true. It’s my freedom of speech, it’s my opinion.”

LOS ANGELES — The former chief of UCLA's willed body program has pleaded guilty for his role in selling donated body parts.

Beijing Taking Mug Shots of Internet Cafe Users

All visitors to Internet cafés in Beijing are to be required to have their photographs taken in a stringent new control on the public use of cyberspace.

A FATHER has taken his 20-year old son to an Islamic court in northern Nigeria for idleness, asking that he be sent to prison for refusing to engage in productive activities.

"He is not listening to words and he is bringing shame to my family. I am tired of his nefarious deeds. Please put this boy in prison so that I can be free," Sama'ila Tahir, a market trader in the northeastern town of Bauchi, said, according to state news agency NAN.

Mr Tahir told the court that his son had refused to go to school and accused him of belonging to a criminal gang.

The court sentenced the son to six months in prison and 30 strokes of the cane - which were immediately administered on the premises - for being disobedient to his parents, NAN said.

FEDERAL WAY, Wash., Oct. 16 (UPI) -- Authorities say they have arrested five people in the state of Washington on charges of forcing an immigrant girl to serve as their slave.

A federal grand jury indictment accuses Mohammad Atahee, Nasima Yousuf, Mohammad Yousuf, Nahid Yousufi and Maruf Yousufi, of forcing the unidentified 16-year-old Afghan girl to serve as a slave at their homes, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer said Thursday.

Atahee married the girl in her native Afghanistan when she was 13 and took her to the United States where she served as a servant at home in the Washington cities of Auburn and Federal Way, the indictment alleges.

Court documents accuse Atahee of repeatedly assaulting the girl both physically and sexually.

The alleged slave labor took place for nearly 18 months starting in August 2006 and was discovered after the girl reported an alleged rape to police on Jan. 26, 2008.

The Post-Intelligencer said the defendants could be sentenced to five years in prison if convicted on conspiracy to enslavement charges.

Here They Come
Democrats gone wild.

Next year the Democrats will control both houses of Congress, most likely with comfortable, perhaps filibuster-proof majorities. If there is a Democratic president, too, Washington will host one of the most liberal governments in American history. Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid are more than ready to make staggeringly liberal changes in the country's economic, social, and foreign policy.

To get a sense of the Democrats' ambitions, listen to them discuss the deficit. They spent the last eight years bemoaning the deficit, which they blamed on the Bush tax cuts. They continually lambasted the Republicans for fiscal irresponsibility. They promised to enact "pay-as-you-go" budget rules and restore accountability.

Thing is, now that power is within their grasp, the Democrats have chucked all that silly talk out the window. They can't wait to raise taxes on high-earners, dividends, capital gains, corporations, oil companies, and estates. But this tax increase is not meant to balance the budget. It's in the name of "fairness," and "patriotism," and whatever revenue it raises will quickly be spent.

Maybe I should turn to religion now, logic isn't working anymore.
